Access
Disabled access from St Bride’s Passage entrance from Salisbury court is over threshold stone with a riser height of 50mm.
The St Bride Institute is a listed building and while we have provided wheelchair access wherever possible there is restricted access to certain areas available for hire. Hirers are therefore reminded of their duties as service providers under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and forthcoming Equality Act 2010 and must satisfy themselves that the facilities offered meet the needs of their potential building users and that their services do not unreasonably discriminate against disabled people. The Institute cannot accept any responsibility or liability on behalf of the hirer for any failure or inequality which may lead to an action under such legislation. Hirers may also need to amend management practices, provide staff training in disability equality and awareness and create printed and electronic information in accessible formats. Please do telephone in advance to discuss access requirements.
