St Bride Foundation brings together exhibition spaces, a theatre, educational
centre and what is undoubtedly one of the most significant collections of typography and
historical printed reference in the world. We also provide a first rate facility for
conference and events with reduced rates for community organisations.
Situated off Fleet Street in the narrow streets surrounding St Bride’s Church the St.
Bride Institute was established in 1891 to meet the educational, cultural and social needs
of a community working within the burgeoning print industry of the Victorian era.
Though the presses have moved away, there continues to be a working community around Fleet
Street. In the spirit of its philanthropic originators, the Foundation continues to provide
a stimulating, community environment that creates a focal point for encouraging and
developing everyone’s potential through a broad range of activities.
Have a look around the site to find out more, download our information leaflet or come and visit the Foundation.
The St Bride Foundation is a registered charity.
